How do i do it?
I use a technique that uses a funnel for a proper, precise, extract Ground herbs are lightly saturated and then compressed into the dropping funnel. The mixture is left to sit for hours before a valve is opened, allowing gravity to slowly draw the liquid down. Once the process is complete, organic coconut glycerin is added. If simmered for 45 minutes, most of the alcohol is removed, (this leaves an ABV of approximately 10% leaving a tincture that captures the full essence of the plants, yet remaining gentle.
Percolation, the type of extraction is noticeably stronger than maceration.
The recommended dose is two droppers, though this can be adjusted depending on the effect desired. It can be taken with a small amount of juice, hot water, or plain water. The tincture has a robust herbal and sweet flavor that is easily taken straight with water.
Everything used in these formulas is organic, down to the coffee filters used for compression. The glycerin is derived from organic coconut rather than vegetable oil, and the cane alcohol comes from certified organic distilleries. Herbs are sourced from India, Canada, and the United States.
